Infected Mediastinal Bronchogenic Cyst Successfully Treated by EUS-FNA Drainage via Esophagus

Abstract

A 61-year old female admitted with complaints of 10 days of productive cough and fever of 38 °C. She was started on antibiotics with oral cefuroxime 500 mg and azithromycin 500 mg. An X-Ray showed mediastinal mass with an air-fluid within. The patient was referred to our institution due to a suspicion of lung abscess.
