Our cover features a major basic protein staining of eosinophils (as shown in red) in lung sections from ovalbumin sensitized, tolerized and challenged mice that lack IL‐10 receptors in dendritic cells. Lung inflammation is documented by peribronchial eosinophil infiltration. The image is taken from Dolch et al. (pp. 302–312), where the authors investigate the cellular targets of IL‐10 during tolerance induction in a murine model of allergic airway inflammation using different cell type specific IL‐10R deficient mice. The results show that IL‐10 signaling in dendritic cells is crucial for tolerance induction.
