Abstract
A neonate who had undergone surgery for intestinal obstruction induced by inguinal hernia incarceration at 15 days after birth was referred to our hospital with fever and gray stool. Blood tests revealed increases in hepatobiliary enzymes and inflammatory reactions. MRI revealed choledocholithiasis and gallbladder stones, suggesting cholangitis due to choledocholithiasis (Figures.1A,1B). Since invasive treatment should be avoided because the patient was a neonate, fasting and antibiotic administration was selected.
