Abstract
Endoscopic ultrasound‐guided hepaticogastrostomy (EUS‐HGS) is associated with less technical success and more adverse events than other kinds of EUS‐guided biliary drainage (EUS‐BD) [1,2]. Therefore, EUS‐HGS is challenging specially for less experienced operators. The major reasons for technical failure are loss of the endoscopic position, migration of guidewire and failure of needle tract dilatation.
