Testicular Torsion in an Infant with Undescended Testis

A 4-month-old boy presented with a 2-day history of irritability and fever along with a right inguinal swelling. Right cryptorchidism was first suspected during a routine checkup before the patient's visit to our hospital. Physical examination disclosed redness in the right inguinal region and no palpable testis in his right scrotum (Figure 1; available at www.jpeds.com).
