Abstract
Pediatric waitlist morbidity and mortality is high overall but unpredictable in individual cases resulting in poor stratification and general dissatisfaction with our current system of liver allocation in infants and children. The scope of this problem is broad but has harshest impact on our youngest candidates who disproportionately suffer from biliary atresia (BA).
