For multistep tandem reactions, more than one type of active catalysts are normally required at different chemical transformation stages. Nowadays, multiple catalytically active components can be facilely integrated into a supported or encapsulated nanomaterials system, or their combinations. In article number 1802094, Hua Chun Zeng and co‐workers review four major types of advanced nanocatalysts, general rules of architectural design and synthetic strategies. The future research direction in this field is also outlined.
