Extensive Bluish–Black Spots

An 11-month-old female infant presented with loss of previously attained milestones since 4 months of age. She was born to a nonconsanguineous couple and had an uncomplicated perinatal period. At 4 months of age, she had an acute febrile illness followed by stagnation of development in all sectors and subsequent had progressive loss of previously acquired milestones, and at the time of presentation, she could not hold her neck, smile, visually fixate, and she had exaggerated startle response. Family history was noncontributory.
