(P082) Black Patients With Locally Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (LA- NSCLC) - An Inclusive Multi-Modality Approach Is Justified

Despite some reports of greater incidence and deaths from locally advanced NSCLC (LA-NSCLC), the Black population remains underrepresented in clinical trials. Complex social, environmental and possibly biological factors may account for differences outcomes between the racial groups. The aim of our study was to determine outcomes between Black and non-Black patients in a well-annotated cohort treated with definitive chemoradiation (bimodality therapy) or followed by surgical resection (trimodality therapy).
