Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma of the small intestine detected by double-balloon enteroscopy

Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma (FDCS) is extremely rare in small intestine that only four cases^1-4 were reported in English literature so far. We herein report the fifth case. A 71-year-old man with a history of colonoscopic polypectomy presented to our hospital because of left lower abdominal pain for one year. The laboratory test lack specificity. Computed tomographies (CT) scan indicated small intestinal mass, possibly lymphoma.
