In early-stage Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) treated with radiation therapy with or without chemotherapy, at 8.3 years after treatment, mortality from causes other than HL surpassed HL-specific mortality. Patients treated in the modern era have significantly lower mortality risk. Limited radiation therapy field trended towards significance as an independent predictor of reduced all-cause mortality in the first decade of follow-up.
