Jim Cox: A Tribute

Jim Cox was the perfect editor-in-chief. He was fair, objective, decisive, firm, and determined. He did not regard The International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics as an extension of himself, though he did have a clear vision for the journal. In his role as editor, he well understood the obligation he had to the international radiation oncology community to ensure that, by means of the peer-review process, all research reported in the journal was of the highest caliber possible.
