In Regard to Xu et al

To the Editor: We enthusiastically read the outstanding study written by Xu et al, titled "Definitive Chemoradiation Therapy for Esophageal Cancer in the Elderly: Clinical Outcomes for Patients Exceeding 80 Years Old" (1). The authors are to be commended for providing a well-balanced study assessing the clinical outcomes in different age groups treated with definitive chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. There are, however, still some areas that need to be further discussed.
