Competency in pediatric resuscitation skills is required of pediatric physicians; however, opportunities to perform these skills in real-life situations are limited.1 Pediatric medical education and training have embraced simulation experiences as supplemental opportunities for learning procedural skills.2,3 Although the current literature supports the benefits of simulation in pediatric medical education, few reliable and validated assessment tools exist for assessment of procedural skills.4-6
