We thank Dr Nomura for his interest in our study. We chose a noninferiority design taking into account that dexamethasone was not expected to be more effective than conventional treatment, as previous clinical trials have reported, but considering that it offers some advantages such as better taste, less vomiting, greater adherence, and potentially a more cost-effective option. However, as Dr Nomura notes, the information in the EU clinical trial register may be misleading.
