Tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) are crucial for the success of immunotherapy and their density can predict prognosis. It has now been shown that computer-based analysis of the spatial organization of TIL adds prognostic value in early-stage non-small cell lung cancer, possibly improving the treatment algorithm to prevent recurrence.
