A Nomogram for Testosterone Recovery Following Combined Androgen Deprivation and Radiation Therapy for Prostate Cancer

Despite the broad implementation of short-term and long-term androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) with radiation therapy (RT) in clinical practice, the time course and extent of testosterone recovery after discontinuation of ADT is not well understood. In this largest series to-date of consecutive localized prostate cancer patients treated with ADT-RT at two academic medical centers, we were able to identify factors affecting testosterone recovery and create a nomogram to predict testosterone recovery in a clinical setting.
