Nomogram predicting locoregional recurrence to assist decision-making of postmastectomy radiotherapy in patients with T1-2N1 breast cancer

The prognostic impact of postmastectomy radiotherapy (PMRT) on patients with T1-2N1 breast cancer is controversial. In this study, we retrospectively analyzed 1141 patients with T1-2N1 breast cancer who underwent mastectomy between January 2001 and December 2012. Based on the results of Fine and Gray regression, we proposed a nomogram estimating individuals' risk of locoregional recurrence with good discrimination, and identified a patient subgroup which can benefit from PMRT using decision tree analysis.
