We wish to thank Wang et al for their interest in our article and suggestions about artificial intelligence (AI).1 We fully agree with their comments. It is clear that recent advances in AI have dramatically enabled image recognition from commercial applications such as facial recognition, to medical application such as radiologic, pathologic, and endoscopic imaging. Remarkably, endoscopic applications of AI have lagged somewhat behind other fields but are rapidly catching up. Colorectal polyps and other early neoplasia of the gastrointestinal tract are prime applications for AI.
