Hepatocellular Carcinoma Due to a Baffle Obstruction After the Mustard Operation: A Case Report

Abstract

The number of adults with congenital heart disease (CHD) is increasing because of improvements in patient survival facilitated by cardiac surgery ⁽¹⁾. A multidisciplinary approach is essential for optimally managing the various complications affecting adults with CHD.^{(1) (2)} Here, we present the first case of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in the background of liver cirrhosis caused by a baffle obstruction after the Mustard operation for dextro-transposition of the great arteries (d-TGA).
