In article number 1700070, David L. Carroll and co-workers introduce the first case of decoupled electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient in inorganic multiphase systems by a method of energy-filtered doping through the addition of a localized nano-heterojunction at the lateral edges of nanosheets. The demonstrated results open the door to possible applications in areas such as quantum computing.
