Being a subjective investigation, DISE findings are prone to interindividual variation. The present study introduces the concept of an expert review panel to standardize DISE scoring. Comparing the ratings of the review panel with the original ratings revealed a substantial concordance at the level of the oropharynx and a fair to moderate concordance at the levels of the soft palate, tongue base, hypopharynx, and epiglottis.
