Harold J Fallon, M.D

Abstract

Harold J Fallon, M.D, 30^TH President of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, passed away on November 17th, 2018 at the age of 87, followed within minutes by his wife, Jo Ann, of 65 years. "Hal ", as he was known to his family and colleagues, was born in New York City on August 13, 1931, and obtained his undergraduate (1953) and medical degree with honors (1957) at Yale University. He then pursued a medical residency at the University of North Carolina (UNC), followed by 2 years as a Clinical Associate in the Cancer Institute at the NIH.
