An intramucosal gastric cancer on the prepylorus completely resected by underwater endoscopic mucosal resection

Abstract

Underwater endoscopic mucosal resection (UEMR) has been reported to be a useful technique for various situations.^1‐3 Although the efficacy of UEMR for gastric polyp has been reported,⁴ there are no reports of UEMR for gastric cancer. We herein present the first case in which UEMR was useful for the treatment of early gastric cancer located on the prepylorus.
