Abstract
Hydatid disease is an endemic parasitosis that results from the ingestion of echinococcosis tapeworm eggs. This condition leads to the formation of cysts, mainly in the liver and lungs, and causes life-threatening complications. Cardiac involvement represents only 0.5–2% of the localizations. We report a rare case of a pulmonary cyst embolism that required emergency surgical intervention.http://ift.tt/2AdjuYK
