In article number 1702859, Won Jong Kim and co-workers introduce a novel nitric oxide (NO)-responsive hydrogel by incorporating a NO-cleavable crosslinker between the polymer main chains, showing high sensitivity and selectivity to NO. The NO-responsive hydrogel may prove useful in therapeutic treatment of inflammation-related diseases by being used as a drug-delivery vehicle, inflammation modulator, and tissue scaffold.
