Once a trainee demonstrates competence in an activity, they can then be 'entrusted' to practice without supervision1. A physician workgroup of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) sought to define Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) EPAs.
